Artist Frederic Bartlett designed and built a decorative wooden aviary to house some of his wife Evelyn's pet birds. It remains today a centerpiece of the serene and lovely central courtyard of Bartlett's beloved Bonnet House in Fort Lauderdale Beach.
This painting was accepted into the 2005 Juried competition and exhibition, "Impressions of Old South Florida," at Bonnet House.
